 The capital Luxembourg looks back on a history of more than 1000 years.

Once one of the most powerful fortresses of Europe, today Luxembourg has developed to a cosmopolitan financial centre and the headquarters of the European Commission and the European Court.

Stroll around on the stunning promenades of the old city, visit the underground casemates or book a guided tour with the city bus or with the petrusse train. Besides a number of museums, art galleries and shops, you are likely to witness some street performers around the place d’Armes.
